Caitlin and Todd’s breathtaking wedding!
Venue: The Golf Club at Newcastle, Newcastle Washington

Geoff and Kim are getting married today. Here are a few from their engagement session!

About 8 months ago I embarked on something new for Whimsical and submitted a registration request for trademark through the U.S. Patent and Trademark office. One of the things I had always been proud of was the Whimsical name and how we’ve branded our name with our customers and in the industry, both on a local and national scale. While I never make any claims to be world famous now, our future expansion and growth is definitely something that Steve and I want to work towards, and securing this was an important next step for our business.
Going through the trademarking application process is pretty easy (especially when you have a kick-ass attorney who holds your hand the entire time), but overall the process can be frustrating, expensive, emotional and a little scary. It can take a very long time for the trademark to be accepted and there are a lot of hoops to jump through in order to make it come together.
But today, my previously mentioned kick-ass attorney, called me and gave me the great news. Our trademark has been accepted and we are officially owners of the mark! It’s a big step for our little company and one that I’m glad we took! It’s just another sign that we are growing and moving forward!
Thank you to my wonderful associate Jocinda for letting me come and just have a little fun this past Saturday!

The Golf Club at Newcastle has one of the best views in all of the Seattle area. Add in a dash of rain and you have something super special. From Caitlin and Todd’s wedding this past Sunday night.
