10 Favorite Pictures of 2010 – Susan’s Number 1 | Seattle Washington Photographer
Wow. I had a really hard time coming up with my last favorite pictures of 2010. Even though I prefaced this entire exercise with “this is in no particular order” and that it would be a wide arrange of photos…. How was I ever going to decide what my absolute favorite picture of the year is?!?
Truth of the matter is this… I change “favorite” photos on a daily basis. Why? Because everyday I take a new favorite. Everyday I try something new. Everyday I’m striving for just a little more. I shoot my camera almost everyday, capturing my life, events, the people I come in contact with, my kids, my clients, and the world around me. To narrow my year or even my life into a series of 10 pictures is totally and completely impossible.
So I decided that instead of leaving you with one big favorite picture, I’d end my year with a sneak peek to Doug and Cathy’s engagement session. It was my last session of the year, the weather was fantastic (albeit very cold!), and the location could not have been better. We shot on the University of Washington campus, specifically the Suzzallo Library. It was perfect considering that Cathy is a graduate student at the UW and even works in the library system. This is why I love my job. Because I get to do something cool and different everyday!
